POWER - The Fool 7“ (feel it - POWER is—and has been the real deal for quite some time. This single serves not only as a testament to that fact, but showcases two of Power's best creations yet. Like thunder rips across the sky, the pounding drums on ‘The Fool’ signal the oncoming storm of slashing rock and roll. The single sees Power explore a side of band which has always been simmering beneath the surface—and it seems the time was right for them to unleash these raw new tunes without holding back. Pure electric guitar damage from this most formidable three-piece. With the ‘The Fool’ cutting a figure which could’ve been found backstage at a show headlined by Venom and The Stooges, the flip, 'Give It All To Me’ displays a range of heavier melodies intoned by 80’s cult groups such as Wicked Lady and Iron Claw. Power have stayed true to themselves and continued to ride towards to the storm.) 11.00

THE VICTIMS - Horror Smash EP 7“ (in the red - “Punk music, at its most effective, its most important, exists at a nexus of a few simple but important ideas. Punk needs to be youthful, it needs to be reactionary, it needs to be short-lived and it needs to be controversial. So for a group of twenty-something Australians, excitable as the frontline first wave of kids responding to both the Ramones and the Sex Pistols (yet still influenced by the New York Dolls and Stooges and Flamin’ Groovies), who existed for but barely for a year from 1977-1978 and wrote songs about serial killers, high school girls and hating disco…well, I’d argue they are the most perfect punk band ever. )11.00

OM - BBC Radio 1 2x10“ (drag city - The mighty OM recorded live on BBC Radio 1, Maida Vale, May 13, 2019. Four tracks spread over four sides of 10-inch vinyl—"Gethsemene," "State of No Return," "Cremation of Ghat I," and "Cremation of Ghat II.“) 26.00

LP

75 DOLLAR BILL - I Was Real DLP (DLX-US-Press) (thin wrist - 75 DOLLAR BILL is one of the essential groups at the heart of NYC's underground. Driven by the telepathic union of CHE CHEN's microtonal electric guitar and RICK BROWN's odd metered percussion their long-form sound is unmistakable and compelling. On their third album I Was Real, the group expands in bold new directions, embracing brilliant fuller orchestrations, joyous rockers and entrancing new textures. The album is 75 Dollar Bill's third, featuring new directions accompanying the band's previously established interest in sprawling, unusual grooves and microtonal melodies. The record is enhanced by the presence of eight additional players in various combinations over its nine tracks—but also shows off the duo's strength when stripped down to the core. Requiring a variety of approaches, the album was recorded over a four-year period, in four different studios, with the band's closest associates and collaborators in a range of different ensemble configurations. The album also features several "studio as instrument" constructions that harken back to the collage-experiments of the band's early cassette tapes, while at the same time pointing to territories altogether new. Double-LP version presented in a heavy tip-on gatefold jacket with textured clothe wrap and matte foil stamping.) 45.00

ALTIN GÜN - On LP (Turkish psych band ALTIN GUN's breakthrough debut album On now available on vinyl for the first time in the U.S. On their debut album, Altin Gün showed what happens when you open the doors between Turkish folk songs and a dirty blend of funk rhythms, wah-wah guitars and analogue organs. Featuring their hit version of “Goca Dünya,” Housed in custom Stoughton vintage style tip-on jackets and pressed on turquoise/white swirl vinyl.) 28.00

AQUARIAN BLOOD - A Love That Leads To War LP (goner - A Love That Leads To War is a clear departure in style and mood for Memphis Tennessee’s Aquarian Blood. The band’s 2017’s debut LP on Goner Records, Last Nite In Paradise, is a chaotic punk epic, rising and falling like the soundtrack to a paranoid nightmare. As a live act, the six-piece band’s sonic atrocity left clubs and house shows around Memphis on life support. The band’s follow up Goner release, A Love That Leads To War, is a more intimate offering of fifteen tracks. Indirectly sparked when full-band drummer Bill Curry was temporarily lost due to a broken arm, Aquarian Blood began playing out in February 2018 as a scaled-down, four-piece incarnation. This more personal album was written, recorded and (almost entirely) performed by founding husband / wife duo J.B. Horrell (Ex-Cult) and NOTS alum Laurel Horrell. ) 21.00

ARAB STRAP - The Week Never Starts Round Here LP (1972 - The year 1996 saw the release of Arab Strap’s first single, “The First Big Weekend,” and debut album The Week Never Starts Round Here. Into an underground rock milieu preoccupied at the time with slo-core, math rock, and all things Pet Sounds, the duo of Malcolm Middleton and Aidan Moffat couldn’t have sounded more alien.) 26.00

ARTHUR RUSSELL - Instrumentals DLP (audika - Before Disco, and before the transcendent echoes, ARTHUR RUSSELL wanted to be a composer. His journey began in 1972, leaving home in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Heading west to Northern California, Arthur studied Indian classical composition at the Ali Akbar Khan College of Music followed by western orchestral music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, before ending two years later in New York at the Manhattan School of Music. ) 32.00

BILL ORCUTT - Odds Against Tomorrow LP (pallallia - "After two LPs and over half a decade spent toiling in the margins of the American Songbook, BILL ORCUTT returns to original composition and the blues with his latest LP, Odds Against Tomorrow. Taking its title from Robert Wise 's 1959 film noir, Odds Against Tomorrow retrofits familiar folk/blues forms to the unique sound of Orcutt's guitar and the result crackles with a freshness and authority that nostalgic retreads cannot deliver. Odds Against Tomorrow is more than an expansion of the territory charted by Bill Orcutt, his eponymous 2017 studio electric debut, although it's certainly that. With its nods to existing musics, half-step fluctuations, and near-songwriter-ly manipulations of tension/release, Odds Against Tomorrow is a rock record—almost. Clearly and simply recorded through a clattering Fender Twin in Orcutt's living room and lovingly mixed by Bay Area neighbor and pedal-steel savant CHUCK JOHNSON, no one would mistake it for any era's radio fodder, yet the precision of its technique and the swaying Child-ballad logic of its gentler improvisations comfortably seats it between John Mayall and Richard Thompson in your Ikea Kallax... Odds Against Tomorrow challenges contemporary solo guitar practice in a way that simultaneously nullifies hazy dreams of folk purity and establishes a new high-water mark for blues-rock reconstruction."—Tom Carter) 26.00

BLACKWATER HOLYLIGHT - Veils Of Winter LP (riding easy - As a heavy band, their songs aren’t anchored to riffs, but rather riffs come and go in waves that surface throughout the band’s meditative, entrancing songs. It’s a hypnotic sound, with orchestral structures that often build tension and intrigue before turning the song on its head—not by simply getting louder or heavier, nor by just layering elements. They expertly subvert the implied heaviness of a part, dissecting it and splaying the song’s guts out to seep across the sonic spectrum. ) 25.00

BODEGA - Shiny New Model LP (wtyr - The mini album Shiny New Model covers various thematic ground: history alive in the present, the sadness of modern consumption, adultery via sexting, and a song set inside an actual bodega (‘Shiny New Model’). In addition to the breezy hook-filled songs, Shiny New Model features an extended improvised version of the group’s staple track "Truth Is Not Punishment." The band has been using this song as a vehicle for live improvisation for a year and decided to use a day of the session to experiment with capturing the song’s new, extended boundaries in the studio. Pressed on green vinyl.) 25.00

CEREBRAL ROT - Odious Descent Into Decay LP (20 buck spin - Continuing to extract the deadliest beings from the dankest corners of the Northwest, 20 Buck Spin summons from the festering swamp-soaked murk the revolting mutation that is Cerebral Rot. Like sewage winding its way through tunnels below the street, this music reeks with the stench of vulgarity and noxious body fumes. ) 24.00

CHAVIRE - Maintenant Que Les Flammes Sont Partout LP (stonehenge - An explosion of emotions and rebellious punk poetry that is Nantes’ band Chaviré, they come back with a brand new record. Part of the beauty that makes Chaviré’s sound so fascinating comes from their ability to make uplifting punk music in a time of desperation and despair. When there’s nothing left to lose, there comes a song like this pumping you with hope and opening your radical imagination for thousand of possiblities.  — DIY Conspiracy) 13.00

CTHONICA - Typhomanteia: Sacred Triarchy Of Spiritual Putrefaction DLP (sentinent ruin - On their horrific debut 2xLP Typhomanteia: Sacred Triarchy of Spiritual Putrefaction, Venezuelan blackened raw death-doom abomination CTHONICA summon a slithering scourge of pestilent and blood-curdling extreme metal barbarism rarely before fathomed at a state this inhuman, repulsive, and horrific. Converging somewhere in the middle between the agonizing and pummeling death-doom of early Incantation and Disembeowelment and the twisted and serpentine blackened chaos of bands like Beherit and Portal, Cthonica have then crawled beyond their influences and any threshold of familiarity by adding layers of decaying noise and sepulchral dark ambient to their abhorrent extreme metal creation, as well as subduing to deranged religious and occult philosophical notions to transcend into the quintessence embodiment of all ritualistic aural abominations. The conceptual alchemies along with the decomposing atmospheric mantras added to their pummeling raw black/death framework have yielded a lengthening of their compositions, causing the music to stretch into a wretched dimension of perverted immateriality. Thorough this abject creation process Cthonica have thus harnessed in the end an absurd realm of previously unseen sonic disfigurement, where extreme metal is deformed by morbid occult practices and begins to embody deviant liturgic and ritualistic traits, taking the glorification and worship of death and perversion to an entire new realm of conceptual and audial atrocity.) 30.00

FIREBREATHER - Under A Blood Moon DLP (riding easy - Fire is what happens when a carbon based object is consumed by oxygen. That chemical reaction is fitting to the sound of Firebreather: the riffs are suffocating, the rhythms fast-moving and all-consuming. It’s so blindingly and deafeningly monolithic, don’t be surprised to be gasping for air while listening. The Gothenburg, Sweden trio has a streamlined focus on driving, symphonic riffs in the vein of High On Fire, Inter Arma and their tour and label-mates Monolord. The guitar and bass tones are, quite simply, entrancing. Like watching flames engulf a forest, the billowing guitar tones are simultaneously beautiful and destructive, while the rhythms sway and lunge with vicious precision. ) 31.00

FLESHWORLD - The Essence Has Changed But The Details Remain LP /TCM - A five-piece band from Kraków, Poland, revolving around the concepts of uncertainty and change, beauty found in decay, and the indescribable emotions. Unpleasant, noisy, and melodic sludgy post-hardcore, evoking nostalgia, regret, and uneasiness. 2019 will see the release of their new album, “The Essence Has Changed, but the Details Remain” through This Charming Man Records. It blends blackened hardcore with melancholic screamo, and psychedelic improvisation. ) 14.00

FLORIST - emily alone LP (whammy - BACK IN STOCK!!!  Received an 8.4 Best New Music rating from Pitchfork.  FLORIST is a soft-synthesizer-folk band and the friendship project of EMILY SPRAGUE, RICK SPATARO and JONNIE BAKER. Born in the Catskill Mountains in 2012, the three began making music together after discovering their shared love for many things musical and for each other. While Florist is historically a collaborative project, Emily Alone finds songwriter Emily Sprague as it’s sole contributor. Emily wrote and recorded all 12 tracks in her Los Angeles home during the last, rainy months of 2018. After moving to California from New York a year prior, Emily found herself in a transformative time of self exploration and independence after leaving the many lives she knew of as home on the east coast to start on a new journey. Living alone and separate from many of the things she once held most close, a deep dive into the dark void of the mind began. LP pressed on white vinyl.) 25.00

GROUPER - A I A - Alien Observer LP re issue (kranky - BACK IN PRINT!!! A I A is a two-part release comprised of songs written and recorded over the last four years. Both albums are low, both discuss: being an other to one’s own self, to other humans; ghosts and aliens, both literal and metaphorical; other worlds to escape to.) 20.00

GROUPER - A I A - Dream Loss LP re issue (kranky - BACK IN PRINT!!! A I A is a two-part release comprised of songs written and recorded over the last four years. Both albums are low, both discuss: being an other to one’s own self, to other humans; ghosts and aliens, both literal and metaphorical; other worlds to escape to.) 20.00

HAVE A NICE LIFE - Sea Of Worry LP (flenser - Have A Nice Life was formed in a time of Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga’s life that reflected concerns with depression and suicidal ideation. As the following for the project has grown, and Barrett and Macuga have aged and faced new life challenges with family and careers, their new album Sea Of Worry reflects just that. Dread is the primary theme that is woven throughout this release—the dread of aging, children growing up, and an increasingly uncertain future.  However, Sea Of Worry is Have A Nice Life at the peak of their powers: Barrett and Macuga’s unmistakable chemistry coupled with a propulsive backing band catapults them into stratosphere. These seven tracks ebb and flow with noise and melody, and are so well-crafted it’s near impossible to get them out of one’s head.  More concise and perhaps more straightforward than their past releases, Have A Nice Life has found new focus and discipline on Sea Of Worry and the album is a triumphant addition to their ever-evolving discography.) 25.00

ISS - Alles 3rd Gut LP (sorry state - The first and only punk band of the 21st century is back with their third full-length record. This time around the masters vomit up fourteen more half-digested bits of (punk) culture, chopping and screwing the classics in a way that perfectly articulates what it’s like to live in the dumpster fire we call 2019. As the novelty of ISS’s schtick—constructing new songs from samples of classic punk records—wears off and the project gathers the patina of maturity, Alles 3rd Gut doesn’t sound like passing of a fad, but rather the cementing of an aesthetic. With the possible exception of “Elevator Shaft” (which, incidentally, features a memorable guest vocal from MISS LADY of WARM BODIES and BB EYE), the samples on Alles 3rd Gut draw less attention to themselves, getting out of the way so as to spotlight the first-class lyrics and songwriting that have kept every ISS record glued to my turntable for months on end. Speaking of which, topics as diverse as (Barron) Trump’s America (“Barron Wasteland”), careerist musicians (“Mac N Me”), white people at the gym (“White Man in Hammer Pants”), white people in cars (“DDYSWHP”), and weird smells (“Aromatherapy”) all come under the ISS microscope. To the already converted: behold, the new scriptures have arrived. To the rest of you: welcome to the brilliantly warped world of ISS, the universe’s greatest current punk band.) 23.00

KATE TEAGUE - Sweetheart LP (muscle beach - The latest from Oxford, Mississippi-based songwriter KATE TEAGUE.“Bridging the gap between classic indie rock and Kacey Musgraves country, this Alabama native weaves a quiet magic on her new slow-burning ballad.”—Flood Magazine.) 20.00

THE KIWI ANIMAL - music media LP (digital regress - Digital Regress's foray into the fabled NZ underground hops over to the North Island for two exquisite pieces of acoustic DIY and shadowy, cracked pastoralia. After a few years spleen venting at the front of Wellington art brutes SHOES THIS HIGH, BRENT HAYWARD struck out on his own, self-releasing a few EPs as SMELLY FEETt before forming THE KIWI ANIMAL with JULIE COOPER in 1982. The duo released their first album, Music Media, on Massage Records (their own imprint) in 1984. Billing itself "New Acoustic Music," the Kiwi Animal's debut is a set of introverted and austere yet lambent folk songs. Textural, gently hypnotic guitar chords anchor minimal arrangements, as Hayward and Cooper's entwined vocals—think Pip Proud meets The Vaselines—project paranoia and forlorn, diffident cool. Wry, imagistic lyrics somewhere between the stoned political economy of D. Boon and the head-fuck soliloquies of Robert Ashley complete The Kiwi Animal effect. The music of The Kiwi Animal, moody and intelligent and often abruptly gentle, works subcutaneously, propelled by guitars that churn and weave—no jangle here—and a his 'n' hers vocal delivery for the ages. Digital Regress is happy to make these essentially perfect records available again. Housed in deluxe-gloss jackets. Edition of 400 copies on black vinyl.) 25.00

THE KIWI ANIMAL - mercy LP (Digital Regress's foray into the fabled NZ underground hops over to the North Island for two exquisite pieces of acoustic DIY and shadowy, cracked pastoralia. With the addition of PATRICK WALLER on cello and sundry other instruments, 1985's Mercy finds an augmented Kiwi Animal trying on what at first glance is a more refined, melancholic sound. But the group's experimental bent, largely restrained on Music Media, soon shows its hand. Pinprick ur-folk guitar themes, blinking on and off, buffeted by radio interference and toy piano; woozy bedsit slow-burns; the arresting croak of Hayward's penpal, William S. Burroughs; even a foray into dosed synth-pop: MERCY presents a unique yield of fraying, autumnal DIY songcraft. The music of The Kiwi Animal, moody and intelligent and often abruptly gentle, works subcutaneously, propelled by guitars that churn and weave – no jangle here – and a his 'n' hers vocal delivery for the ages. Digital Regress is happy to make these essentially perfect records available again. Housed in deluxe-gloss jackets. Edition of 400 copies on black vinyl.) 25.00

THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS - The Crushed Velvet Apocalypse DLP (soileilmoon - REISSUED!!! THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS originally released The Crushed Velvet Apocalypse in 1990, sandwiched between the highly acclaimed albums The Golden Age and The Maria Dimension. Critics may differ, but fans generally consider this period to be the band's creative peak, an opinion that is backed up by solid and steady sales of the back catalog. The Crushed Velvet Apocalypse is an intoxicating blend of rock and psychedelia, seasoned with a touch whimsy, simultaneously engaging and memorable. Three decades on the music stands unblemished, timeless, enduring, and vital. This 30th Anniversary Edition of The Crushed Velvet Apocalypse includes the complete album as well as the tracks from the Princess Coldheart EP and two extended session recordings on a bonus LP. It is presented in a deluxe gatefold jacket, with a lyric insert and a color postcard with a download code. Limited edition of 250 copies on black vinyl.) 45.00

LUMINANCE - Ahead DLP (medical - Belgium based LUMINANCE continues to build his multiverse and embarks on a journey towards the infinite, meandering through a melt of genre-defiers best likened to darkwave / EBM / ambient / industrial / dark electro. Seeking in his roots and influences, which include psych, ambient, black metal, krautrock and mixing it with modern shapes of synth music, the artist crafts a extremely intense second full length. This double LP has been slowly evolving in the artist's mind over the last few years and offers 10 truly manifold tracks as saga panels to guide us through the passage of existence.) 27.00

MASAHIRO SUGAYA - horizon vol. 1 LP (empire of - Almost completely unknown in the west, Masahiro Sugaya has been composing and producing music since the 1980s in an exceptionally wide range of fields and practices. From arrangements for musical acts like the acoustic guitar duo Gontiti to acousmatic diffusion at spaces like Paris’s Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM), Sugaya’s reach is almost exhaustive in its breadth, but it was in the 80s bubble-era kankyō ongaku scene that he first found his musical voice. Horizon, Volume 1 presents a window into these works, culled from Sugaya’s early scores for experimental Tokyo theatre group Pappa Tarahumura.  As a teenager, Sugaya would visit the avant garde hub of record/book shop Art Vivant run by Satoshi Ashikawa of Sound Process, guided by Ashikawa’s recommendations into the worlds of experimental composition, jazz and ethnographic music. It was there he also met musician Yoshio Ojima—the two would become close friends and contemporaries, working within a circle of Tokyo musicians that also included Midori Takada, Hiroshi Yoshimura and Satsuki Shibano. Aside from his brief inclusion on Light in the Attic’s Kankyō Ongaku: Japanese Ambient, Environmental & New Age Music 1980-1990 (compiled by Empire of Signs’ Spencer Doran), Horizon presents this work outside of Japan for the first time.) 30.00

MIKAL CRONIN - Seeker LP (merge. Recorded live with a crew of close friends and engineer JASON QUEVER at Palmetto Studios in Los Angeles, Seeker finds MIKAL CRONIN pushing his often devastating power pop into darker territory—from the isolation of “Show Me” to the desperation of “Fire” to the unadorned heartache of “Sold.” ) 20.00

MIKAL CRONIN - Seeker LP + 12“ (merge - Limited edition vinyl version pressed on green swirl vinyl with a bonus red/green colored vinyl 12-inch.) 29.00

NIGHTFELL - A Sanity Deranged LP (20 buck spin - Returning like a phantom four years after Darkness Evermore enveloped the planet, the all-consuming thunderstorm that is Nightfell’s third album A Sanity Deranged is loosed upon a world in fractured turmoil. A dark metal dirge of madness, an anthem to those immemorial and a sonic bloodletting of vitriol and contempt, this is Nightfell at its most spitefully deliberate.  A Sanity Deranged is a pinnacle of the disparate sounds that shape the cohesive discordance of the band. Slicing ice cold texture cuts like obsidian glass amidst the monumental death crush and grim wallow of doomed dejection. The heart has remained as defiant and vigilant as ever, but the old flesh has been shed and a beast reborn rears forth— jaws dripping, teeth gnashing, shedding the withered exoskeleton for an adherent body.  Recorded and mixed together with Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios (High On Fire, Asunder, Vastum, Ulthar) with additional instrumentation and vocals tracked by Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Melvins, etc), the duo of Nightfell evoke their most dense and dynamic recording yet. A sharpened blade of iron and steel forged in the fires of tumult, this album is the annihilating vanguard for the end times now upon us all.) 24.00

NOCTURNUS - The Science Of Horror LP (nwn - Although he played a pivotal role in the emergence of the early U.S. death metal movement as both a co-founder of MORBID ANGEL and a member of INCUBUS in the mid-to-late-1980s, MIKE BROWNING's legacy is most inextricably tied to his involvement in NOCTURNUS in the late-'80s and early-'90s. In 1990, Nocturnus revolutionized death metal with the release of its first full-length album, The Key, which for the first time in the history of the sub-genre incorporated keyboards as an essential element of a death metal band's sound. During a critical three-year period prior to the release of this album, Nocturnus developed this unique sound, as documented by two demo recordings, entitled Nocturnus and The Science of Horror, which were disseminated on cassette format in typically limited numbers in 1987 and 1988, respectively. The second of these demos, in particular, contains embryonic versions of several songs that would eventually be re-recorded for inclusion on The Key. However, as tends to be the case with demo recordings, these versions represent a significantly more primitive musical vision, as compared to the more polished recordings on the ensuing album. This new reissue includes both the Nocturnus and The Science of Horror demos and updated original artwork from the renowned ZBIGNIEW BIELAK. ) 25.00

NORMAN WESTERBERG - bedroom off DLP (secret - Brand new solo album by SWANS' guitarist of 35 years, NORMAN WESTBERG. Two full length LPs of dark, droney ambient music pressed on translucent orange inside blue vinyl with locked grooves on sides A and C. Hand-numbered limited edition of only 350 copies. Includes digital download code.) 30.00
SUN WORSHIP - emanations of desolation DLP (vendetta . new long anticipated full lenght by this berlin black metal duo) 20.00

PATRICK COWLEY - Mechanical Fantasy Box DLP (dark entries - Mechanical Fantasy Box is Cowley’s homoerotic journal, or as he called it, “graphic accounts of one man’s sex life.” The journal begins in 1974 and ends in 1980 on his 30th birthday. It chronicles his slow rise to fame from lighting technician at The City Disco to crafting a ground-breaking 16-minute remix of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” to performing with Sylvester at the SF Opera House. Vivid descriptions are told of cruising in ‘70s SoMA sex venues to primal highs in Buena Vista Park and composing pornophonics in his Castro apartment. The entries are introspective and show a very out-front, alive person going through the throes of gay liberation post-Stonewall.  French-born artist and Berlin resident Gwenaël Rattke works in collage, silkscreen, photography and Xerox graphics. Rattke's collage works borrow from the visual codes of the 60s and 70s. Intricate, ornamental and excessive, they present "an imagined past fired with beauty and sexual freedom." For this book Rattke created 25 original illustrations inspired by selected entries, 3 street maps documenting locations mentioned herein and 4 collages of photos, ephemera and notes Patrick stuffed inside the journal. We’ve included Patrick’s doodles too, as well as introductory essays by Josh Cheon, Theresa McGinley and Jorge Socarrás.) 26.00

SIMON JOYNER - Pocket Moon LP (grapefruit - “‘Singer-songwriter’ is a frustratingly confining term; to truly understand exactly just how confining, look no further than the recorded works of Simon Joyner, an artist whose work consistently transcends the narrow parameters of genre classifications and record shop bin cards. Though his music has always honored, reckoned with—wrestled with—the tradition set forth by his songwriting forebears (Cohen, Van Zandt, Ochs, Dylan, Reed to name a few), Joyner can always be counted on to defy expectations; as a lyricist, melodicist, and arranger, Joyner likes to keep us on our toes. ) 24.00

SLUMP - Flashbacks From Black Dust Country LP (feel it - "Too much so-called psych-punk or acid-punk or whatever boils down sonically to some efx added to a familiar punk/rock format. I’m sorry, but that doesn’t qualify to my ears. On the other hand, this SLUMP band from Richmond, Virginia, ranks high. Very high. (And so am I.) They’ve been around for about four years now, with the current lineup of WILL FENNESSEY (bass), TONY NOWOTARSKI (Moog/guitar), NICK YETKA (drums), and SUSPICIOUS SONNY (vocals/guitar). They self-released a single in 2016 that kinda reminds me of the NYC HC band Kaleidoscope, except there are prominent electronics. They also released an excellent split EP (with True Body) that found them expanding the songs into longer chunks that allow for more freedom to move.   ) 22.00

THE TAJ MAHAL TRAVELERS - July 15 1972 LP (etat unit - For over half a century, Takehisa Kosugi was one of the most unique and enduring figures in the Japanese underground. As an art student in Tokyo in the early 1960s, he joined the Fluxus-styled performance unit Hi Re Centre and founded the improvisational ensemble Group Ongaku, but his most legendary project was The Taj-Mahal Travelers – a multicellular organism that included Kosugi, Ryo Koike, Yukio Tsuchiya, Seiji Nagai, Michihiro Kimura, Tokio Hasegawa and sound engineer Kinji Hayashi. With a penchant for long psychedelic jams (some lasting 12 hours or more) The Taj-Mahal Travelers lived up to their name. Touring in a Volkswagen van across Europe and Asia in the early '70s, they eventually reached the actual Taj Mahal in India. Upon their return to Japan, they held a concert to raise more touring funds and released their very first recordings. Their debut album, July 15, 1972, would extend the band's matter-of-fact titling: all the tracks were named precisely for the times they began and ended.) 32.00

TY SEGALL - Pig Man Lives Vol. 1 - Demos 2007-2017 4xLP BOX (sea note - WHAT. It’s almost 2020!? Face it, the last ten years or so have been a BLUR—so much shit going down, good and bad—and a lot of music too. It doesn’t look like its gonna get any easier for ANYBODY to get their bearing, so TY SEGALL and Sea Note have gotten together a special box to help you reorient your head, no matter where you are. Yeah, this one’s for the freak, the fan, the head. Pig Man Lives is a stack of raw germs that were blown up in the world as Ty Segall releases over this last golden decade or so—specifically, the demos that bred Manipulator, Freedom’s Goblin, Emotional Mugger, Twins, Ty Segall, Slaughterhouse and Sleeper. Each finished record had its own unique aim and intention, but when you hear tracks from 2007 next to 2015, then 2012 cutting in after 2017, the splatter allows you to hear the continuum of a whole body of work exploding over and over again in the burst of freedom that comes with the initial sketch of a song. Non-linear reorientation, taking you back and forward over the course of eight sides and 47 songs. There’s even a few that haven’t seen the light of day before. You’re bound to feel different after you’ve spent any kind of quality time with Pig Man. Whether he’s recording alone at home or in a studio with the band, Ty’s goal in putting something on tape isn’t just to log the song, it’s to make a whole thing that’s rad. For some of these songs, further evolution brought even more out of them. And some are perfect this way, with rough edges and little details you’re not gonna believe you’ve lived without. As sure as Pig Man Lives, you won’t have to anymore.) 70.00

VASTUM - Orificial Purge LP (20 buck spin - After four years of near silence, Vastum return with Orificial Purge, their much-awaited follow up to the acclaimed Hole Below. Their fourth album, Orificial Purge offers a distinctive blend of sinister atmosphere, punishing brutality, and an unparalleled lyrical and visual imagery that traces connections between perversion, mortification, and an abyssal mysticism of sin. ) 24.00

VATICAN SHADOW - Washington Buries Al Qaeda Leader At Sea DLP (hospital - An exclusive and outstanding Regis collaboration appears on the third volume of vinyl premieres for VATICAN SHADOW's early and highly sought-after tapes, as originally dispensed in 2011 during the peak years of the War On Terror. Holding all six sides from 3x hard-to-find tape "deck" issues of Washington Buries Al Qaeda Leader At Sea, plus the previously digital-only track "He Ambled Down The Dirt Road For Visits To A Market" and the aforementioned Regis exclusive; the third installment of the series definitively compiles Vatican Shadow's impressionistic take on a turning point in 21st century U.S. geopolitics.) 29.00

VERHEERER - monolith LP (vendetta - German Black Metal outfit VERHEERER unleashes their new ful lenght. Comes with a12 page booklet) 15.00

THE VICTIMS - s/t LP (in the red - “Punk music, at its most effective, its most important, exists at a nexus of a few simple but important ideas. Punk needs to be youthful, it needs to be reactionary, it needs to be short-lived and it needs to be controversial. So for a group of twenty-something Australians, excitable as the frontline first wave of kids responding to both the Ramones and the Sex Pistols (yet still influenced by the New York Dolls and Stooges and Flamin’ Groovies), who existed for but barely for a year from 1977-1978 and wrote songs about serial killers, high school girls and hating disco…well, I’d argue they are the most perfect punk band ever. ) 23.00

WIPERS - Land Of The Lost LP (jackpot - Jackpot Records is proud to announce the highly sought after WIPERS Land Of The Lost LP. It was released in 1986 on Restless Records and has been out of print since. Land Of The Lost is the follow up to their historic third studio record Over The Edge. and is one of the hardest Wipers titles to find. Featuring 9 original tracks and includes the original locked groove. Pressed on limited edition blue/gray vinyl.) 25.00

YOSHI WADA - Lament For The Rise And Fall Of The Elephantine Crocodile LP (etat unit - Yoshi Wada's Lament For The Rise And Fall Of The Elephantine Crocodile, originally released in 1982 on India Navigation, remains one of the most remarkable flowers to grow in the rarefied air of American minimalism – akin to Terry Riley's Reed Streams and Pauline Oliveros' Accordion & Voice, yet with a wild, liberated energy all of its own.  After graduating from Kyoto University of Fine Arts with a degree in sculpture, Wada moved to New York City in 1967 and quickly fell in with the community of artists known as Fluxus. In the early '70s, he began building his own instruments and writing musical compositions, studying with La Monte Young and Hindustani singer Pandit Pran Nath. Recorded during an epic three-day session in an empty swimming pool in upstate New York, Wada's first album brings together two of the oldest drone instruments – the human voice and bagpipes – to simple and glorious effect. A visit to the Scottish Highlands spurred Wada's interest in bagpipes, which the composer integrated into these sparse, otherworldly sounds heard on Lament. This first-time vinyl reissue is limited to 750 numbered copies. Comes with poster.) 30.00

V/A - Brown Acid - The Seventh Trip LP (riding easy - Everybody’s favorite source for the hard stuff is back in business, with ten more lethal doses of rare hard rock, heavy psych and proto-metal! Hard to believe it’s seven Trips in and they haven’t lost any steam. As usual, these obscure tracks have all been licensed, the bands have been paid, and the sources are all analog. The quality of tracks seems to increase along with the number of Trips and this cohesive collection comes outta the gate with both guns blazing! ) 25.00

V/A - The World Is A Monster: Lonesome, Blue And Jump Jivin LP (Out of the ashes of World War II, post-war Corporate U.S.A would sully its hands with anything in search of a buck. Even Hillbilly music. Here, reissued for the first time, are 18 of the grimiest, most delicious slabs of Hillbilly misery, debauchery and mayhem to grace the Columbia Records imprint. From the dusty Rhinestone Noir of Rocky Porter’s :The World Is A Monster” and Johnny Bond’s “All I Can Do Is Cry” to the strident defiance of Polly Possum’s “Don’t Talk To Me About Men” and the feral cowpoke racket of The Maddox Brothers “Ugly And Slouchy.” Years in the making—The World Is A Monster presents 18 timeless paeans to dissolution, absolution and wanderlust—swinging, celebratory Honky Tonk odes and maudlin tear-in-your-beer-jerkers. Limited Edition Deluxe Gatefold LP with exclusive scholarly liner notes. Limited to 500 copies.) 35.00

7“

NATHAN ROCHE - Smoke The Boat 7“ (do the math - Since his arrival in Paris, Nathan Roche has been a busy man to say the least. Within the last four years, Roche has split his time between fronting Le Villejuif Underground on some of the biggest European festivals, restless touring as part of the experimental duo CIA Débutante and dreaming of a world without swimming pools in his latest anticipation novel The Shallow Death of Enceladus. One might wonder how France's favorite Australian immigrant has also found time to record three new songs under his own name. Roche's new EP ''Smoke The Boat'' is a return to guitar-centered pop songs, which we are proud to release in co-production with Leipzig-based label Do The Math !.) 8.00

LP

CLOUD RAT - Pollinator LP (artofact - Michigan-based grindcore cult heroes Cloud Rat return with Pollinator, the band's most intense and blistering recordings to date. Over the past ten years, Cloud Rat has established itself as one of the most compelling bands in the underground. Over a staggering number of releases – four full-length albums, eleven EPs and splits, a live album, and various other comps, in one decade – the Michigan band has made a name for itself via sheer emotion and musical freedom. NPR Music called Cloud Rat's 2013 album, Moksha, "a feral, fearsome and fearless piece of work." Noisey described a live show in 2015 with these words: "Cloud Rat is one of those rare bands whose music connects instantly, painfully – you feel the words, the riffs, and the all-consuming cacophony deep within the marrow of your bones, vibrating out into a hostile world.“) 20.00

DARKTHRONE - old star LP (peaceville - Peaceville, Darkthrone, the Norwegian Black Metal legends, marks its 2019 return with a sublime slab of relentless riffing in the true spirit of the underground. ) 20.00

ECSTATIC VISION - Under The Influence LP (kozmik - ECSTATIC VISION introduced their brand of heavy primal psych influenced by groups like Hawkwind, Aphrodites Child, Olatunji, Can and early Amon Duul ll in late 2013. Formed in Philadelphia to primarily “play what they wanted to hear,” the band quickly rose to those in the know as a force to be reckoned with. After two releases on the legendary Relapse Records, now in 2018 the band returns with "Under The Influence" on the Italian label Heavy Psych Sounds. "Under The Influence" is ECSTATIC VISION’S take on some of their favorite songs by some of their biggest influences ranging from Zam Rock to the kings of early Psychedelia and Detroit rock. ECSTATIC VISION unleash UNDER THE INFLUENCE, a collection of six RAW, FUZZY, PSYCHEDELIC slabs of COSMIC ROCK. UNDER THE INFLUENCE sees the band covering tracks by some of their biggest influences; The primitive stoner doom sounds that came out of ZAMBIA in the early/mid 70s that is known as ZAM ROCK, the godfathers of space-rock HAWKWIND, and the early kings of Detroit rock n’ Roll THE MC5, all delivered with ECSTATIC VISION’s signature bone crushing, blown-out in all - the-right-ways recording style) 18.00

FORMING THE VOID - rift LP (kozmik - Lousiana's Forming the Void is one of stoner metal's best-kept secrets. Last year's Relic was a potent blend of sludge, stoner and prog, accentuated by phenomenal songwriting and damn-near radio-friendly tunes that put most radio rock to shame." - Aaron (Metal Injection) 20.00

JIM SULLIVAN - Jim Sullivan LP (lita - Booklet with liner notes and rare archive photos On March 4, 1975, Jim Sullivan mysteriously disappeared outside Santa Rosa, New Mexico. His VW bug was found abandoned, his motel room untouched. Some think he got lost. Some think the mafia bumped him. Some even think he was abducted by aliens.) 32.00

JIM SULLIVAN - If The Evening Were Dawn LP (liat - On March 4, 1975, Jim Sullivan mysteriously disappeared outside Santa Rosa, New Mexico. His VW bug was found abandoned, his motel room untouched. Some think he got lost. Some think the mafia bumped him. Some even think he was abducted by aliens. By coincidence–or perhaps not–Jim’s 1969 debut album was titled U.F.O.. Released in tiny numbers on a private label, it too was truly lost until Light In The Attic Records began a years-long quest to re-release it–and to solve the mystery of Sullivan’s disappearance. Only one of those things happened, and you can guess which… Light In The Attic’s reissue of U.F.O. introduced the world to an overlooked masterwork and won Sullivan, posthumously (presumably), legions of new fans. Those new admirers are in for a real treat: a lavish, first-time release of a previously unheard 1969 studio session. If The Evening Were Dawn contains 10 acoustic solo recordings that have never seen the light of day. Whereas U.F.O. was bolstered by legendary sessioneers The Wrecking Crew, this is Jim Sullivan on his own terms, stripped down and soulful as ever. Recorded at a Los Angeles studio circa 1969, the session contains acoustic versions of a handful of U.F.O. tracks alongside a half dozen previously unheard songs. This, then, is the closest thing to those fabled Malibu bar performances at which Sullivan was first noticed. According to his widow, Barbara, this was the album Jim always hoped to record. It serves as an unprecedented glimpse into the mysterious, larger-than-life figure who’s become the stuff of legends. While Sullivan’s disappearance remains unsolved, his music endures and is finally gaining him the recognition he deserves, albeit long overdue. This recording serves as an unexpected missing piece of the puzzle; this is Jim Sullivan’s true swan song.) 32.00

METH. - Mother of Red Light LP (prostehtic - Debut album from chaotic, experimental hardcore / metal collective METH.) 20.00

SUNN o)) - Pyroclasts DLP (southern lord - The Pyroclasts album is the result of a daily practice which was regularly performed each morning, or evening during the two week Life Metal sessions at Electrical Audio during July 2018, when all of the days musical participants would gather and work through a 12 minute improvised modal drone at the start and or end of the day’s work. The piece performed was timed with a stopwatch and tracked to two inch tape, it was an exercise and a chance to dig into a deep opening or closing of the days session in a deep musical way with all of the participants. To connect/reconnect, liberate the creative mind a bit and greet each other and the space through the practice of sound immersion. The players across the four pieces of Pyroclasts are Tim Midyett, T.O.S., Hildur Guðnadóttir, and as always Stephen O’Malley & Greg Anderson. The music on Pyroclasts is inextricably woven to Life Metal. It exists on the very same tape reels, was explicitly recorded by Steve Albini. The brightness and vividity of that glorious session glares through these four tracks, the precision and radiance, prismatic lustrousness of the saturation, the elemental sculptural shapes, the abstract renderings. It is a sister, or perhaps a shadow album. Or perhaps the now apparent miasma or aether. But it also exists in a form of a pause, a time space which exist in between and around the compositional structures of Sunn O)))’s titanic works. For the listener or recipient/participant there are deep rewards within the patience of pulling down the walls and letting the music feel, and feel the music. To be immersed will reveal great detail and colour, clarify image, encourage a depth of focus and stillness which may lead to a quite profound experience. Sitting inside the space of time. A deep form of elementalism, even atomism, and connection with presence moment, time and reality. Sunn O))) would invite their audience to consider these points of perception when experiencing and listening to Pyroclasts. Sunn O))) would also invite and encourage the audience to use Pyroclasts as a lens to review and reexperience the complexity of the Life Metal album, and even to interrupt its sequence with Pyroclasts. This elaboration can bring the astute listener both abyssal, hallowed rewards. Pyroclasts was recorded and mixed by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio on two inch tape July 2018, and mastered by Matt Colton through all analogue AAA process at Metropolis July 2019. Four of Samantha Keely Smith’s incredible consciousness memory landscape paintings grace the album sleeve – album cover below. Stephen & Greg would like to dedicate this album to the memories of Ron Guardipee, Kerstin Daley & Scott Walker.) 27.00

TAPES

HEAVY METAL - Heavy Metal 4 TAPE (static age - "COUNTER ELECTRODE - IRON MONO" "KILLING YOURSELF TO OWN YOUR PARENTS & THE TORIES" New Heavy Metal! 65 odd minutes of the stuff, exploring a bunch of different modes but with the full allocation of puerile, brutally repetitive space-punk - from the PiL-meets-Phantom Payn opener ('Savagely Beaten By Funk') on in. 26 songs about golf, Bergadler beer, suicide, Frank Spencer...it's basically their Exile on Main Street. Limited pre-release from Static Age. More information to follow! ( Kiran, Low Company / BEB )) 6.00

NICK NORMAL - NIcky's First Rodeo TAPE (do the math - Portland's Nick Normal already made a most welcome splash in the form of a handful of rather Lo-Fi sounding EPs in recent past. Not only has the dude now found a perfect home in between all the other whacky motherfuckers releasing their stuff via Discontinuous Innovation Inc, but we also get to hear his music for the first time in a sonic presentation that takes at least some advantage of the audible range. Otherwise it's business as usual, which in this case means a shitload of off-kilter fun halfway between post- and garage punk. Add to that a hint of new wave and you might be reminded of Andy Human or Erik Nervous, also you might draw some parallels to Ausmuteants or Useless Eaters. (12XU)) 6.00

7“

FATAL BRUTAL - s/t 7“ (kik - We met at the minigolf course somewhen in 2015 and decided to start a band. Simple as that. 6 new tracks with lots of speed and aggression.) 5.00

GREY WALLS - s/t 7“ (kink - Gloomy, trudging hardcore from Germany with vocal akin to DYSTOPIA and DISRUPT. Proto-hardcore riffs summon a couple horseman of the apocalypse with an appreciation for MORSER and RORSHACH. Low-tuned strings buzz underneath abysmal tracks that end sporadically. Side two is an aquatic carnival of SWING KIDS-type punk, reminding me of the gothic side of INSTINCT OF SURVIVAL which is quickly torn apart by power-crust screams of torment. An avant-garde artistic approach to an easily categorized, abrasive, misanthropic corner of hardcore. I can’t ignore the intrigue. The skeletal artwork is beautiful: black-and-white pencil-and-wash drawings similar to KÄTHE KOLLWITZ, with handwritten lyrics in German and English. You’re not giving me a lot a space here, but I appreciate you, GREY WALLS. (Max RnR)) 6.00

LP

ABKEHR - in Feuer LP (acid tears - LTD TO 300 German black metal miseryists ABKEHR have finally returned with a new album after Sick Man Getting Sick Records and Sentient Ruin released their astonishing debut LP In Asche back in 2017 revealing the duo as one of the most exciting new prospects in European black metal. Today, ABKHER return with a perfect continuation of their debut – In Feuer – a glorious amalgam of raw black metal fury, eerie atmospheres and a looming sense of despair which makes the album standout as one of the most daring and defiant raw/depressive melodic black metal releases of the year. Behold…. “In Feuer” masterfully puts back on display ABKHER’s signature sound made of soaring melodic gallops, slow and dismal doom-inspired mid sections, and a raw and sanguine fury borrowed straight from the old vanguard of primordial Scandinavian black metal. While their staple traits are back and fully preserved “In Feuer” expands the ABKHER story further as well. The production is more focused and thick but perhaps deliberately even rawer and colder, making the music resound with more vigor than ever before, while the atmospheres seem to have expanded and increased in weight and grimness, with the music overall sounding more daring, focused and unpredictable than ever before, while also developing a new sense of oppressiveness and claustrophobia. The thirty-minute trip into the most dismal manifestations of misery is a masterclass that will please fans of classic sounding, raw and eerie black metal bands (cvlt nation)) 18.00

CUT CITY - Exit Decades LP (specific - back in stock - CUT CITY formed in 2002 around the local Deleted Art label, sort of the swedish counter-part to U.S. art-punk imprints like Three One G and Tapes Records. In May 2005 they issued a 4-song EP on the california-based Gold Standard Labs label, home to such acts as THE LOCUST, YEAR FUTURE, GOGOGO AIRHEART and many more. Their debut full-length, EXIT DECADES was released in February 2007 on GSL.) 16.00

FILMMAKER - The Love Market LP (detriti - Dystopic Electro Masterpiece. "A auditory tour through the darkest red rooms and dungeons. The Love Market is an instant classic of dark and sensual low bass and hard synth lines. A true gem of dark electronica.“) 23.00

MATT ELLIOTT - The Mess We Made DLP (Formerly known as The Third Eye Foundation, Matt Elliott's The Mess We Made is indeed something worth changing your stage name for. At turns dark, beautiful, plaintive and frankly rather lovely, this 8-track enchantment is, we are sure, a seminal change of direction for our man in rural France.Using the ambience and electronics of previous Third Eye Foundation recordings as a backdrop for his contemplative and dark songs, Elliott delivers his most beautiful release yet.) 23.00

NIGHTFELL - A Sanity Deranged LP (20 buck spin - back in stock on black and col. Vinyl - Returning like a phantom four years after Darkness Evermore enveloped the planet, the all-consuming thunderstorm that is Nightfell’s third album A Sanity Deranged is loosed upon a world in fractured turmoil. A dark metal dirge of madness, an anthem to those immemorial and a sonic bloodletting of vitriol and contempt, this is Nightfell at its most spitefully deliberate.  ) 24.00

PETE BROWN AND HIS BATTERED ORNAMENTS - A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In The Dark LP (timeless - Pete Brown's debut album may not have been as accessible as those of Cream (for whom he often helped write material) or even the early Jack Bruce (for whom he continued to collaborate as a songwriter). There are similarities, however, though more to Bruce's solo work than to Cream. For one thing, there are those lyrics, which are of a far higher standard than heard on most rock songs, ranging from ominous impressionism to take-out-the-piss political satire. Then there's Brown's voice, which rather resembles a gruff Jack Bruce, and is effective though certainly not as smoothly melodic as Bruce's vocals. And then there's the music, which grew out of the same jazz-blues-rock community that gave birth to the Graham Bond Organisation, Cream, and Colosseum. In fact, two other alumni of that scene, Bond (on organ) and Dick Heckstall-Smith (on saxophone), are among the supporting players, as is a young Chris Spedding. There are also unusual psychedelic and Middle Eastern accents here and there in the arrangements, though tasteful and subdued. Because there aren't the pop hooks of the songs Brown had a hand with in Cream, and because Brown's voice is not that of your average rock frontman, it's not something that ever got a wide audience. But it has its rewards for those looking for something a little more avant-garde and intellectual than much late-'60s psychedelic-prog rock, including the fairly grooving "Dark Lady" (which musically resembles Graham Bond's work), "Station Song" (where the likeness to some of Jack Bruce's more mysterious tracks is highest), and the beguiling downward-spiral melody of "Rainy Taxi Girl." Some of the bluesy tunes are more functional, but the 12-minute "The Politician" -- not the same as the Cream classic "Politician" penned by Brown and Bruce, though there are similarities -- is a highlight, as a very witty and scathing anti-establishment spoken word poem segueing into an off-kilter blues-rocker that exposes the "politician" for the lecherously hypocritical geezer he is. (allmusic.com)) 18.00

PHARAOH OVERLORD - #1 DLP (full contact - Few bands are as aptly named as Pharaoh Overlord. Few albums are as aptly named as Pharaoh Overlord #1. Since the inception of the trio in 2001, they’ve carved up imposing, yet weirdly cosy monoliths erected in the epic desert of original rock and roll. Pharaoh Overlord’s stoner rock klang on the debut is down-to-earth due to sheer weight of the riffs. The light touch and the ease with which Leppänen, Lehtisalo and Westerlund lift the weight of the riffs off the ground and propel them on abysmal orbits works like a magician’s trick, a cathartic sleight of hand. In the case of Pharaoh Overlord, the magic endures. Pharaoh Overlord #1 is a stone-cold classic.) 25.00

PRUNE DEER - Insufficient Postage LP (specific - Meet Prune Deer, an instrumental band from Hong-Kong that is currently at the forefront of the evergrowing Asian music scene. Formed in 2013 by Kwan Shing (drums), Jerry Sham (bass), Nature Hin and SF Tang (guitars), Prune Deer is playing its very own brand of « post rock meets math rock ». Never too far from the Japanese scene influences (reminding Lite or Toe, at times), the band never hesitates to go its own way, adding some aesthetic abstract influences such as ambient soundscapes and field recording clips. While mostly short and mostly instrumental, Prune Deer’s songs also offers a couple of famous female voices to its forward-thinking and rich ideas. Therefore, on Insufficient Postage (it’s very first international release), you’re treated to none other than Ashlet Tang and Haru Nemuri featurings. Emotional and heartfelt, this brand new release heavily influenced by Hong-Kong current political context will make you cry in awe and see beauty in life like you’ve never seen it before. FFO: Mogwai, Caspian, Mono) 16.00

TIMELOST - Don't Remember Me For This LP (splatter) (golden antenna - What started as a file-sharing effort between two metalhead friends who sought to explore their own musical lusts, TIMELOST transformed into an emotionally charged diary of honesty, self-evolution, loss, and pain. Philadelphia’s TIMELOST, will deliver their powerful debut full-length. Don’t Remember Me For This delivers the triumphant anthems 2019 has been begging for. Don’t Remember Me For This is bursting with dynamic punk velocity, nostalgic feelings of shoegazey grunge and intertwined with infectiously rippling sadness. Lush with the bands influences on their sleeves, TIMELOST mix just enough angst and grungy aggression with post-rock and dark-waving melancholy to create hazy, seductive soundtracks. 11 brand new tracks showcase the bands attention to textual and sonic detail while capturing the fury of a driving and blasting rhythm section. „We didn’t set out for this to be a concept album but there is definitely a theme within the lyrics„, comments TIMELOST frontman Shane Handal. „We wanted to be honest and wrote what was real to us. It just so happened we both were going through a lot at the time we were writing the album. It’s weird to throw yourself out there to the world and be so vulnerable but it felt honest and real. We wanted to put out a genuine record from the music to the lyrics.“   Singer and guitarist Shane Handal (Set & Setting) and drummer Grzesiek Czapla (Woe) entered Uniform Recording in Philadelphia, PA in August of 2018. Looking to set the perfect tone, the duo partnered with recording engineer, Jeff Zeigler (War On Drugs, Kurt Vile, Nothing) and recorded over 15 days, playing every instrument. With the help of mixing engineer, Ryan Haft (Torche, Wrong) and mastering engineer, Ed Brooks (REM, Death Cab For Cutie, Minus The Bear), Don’t Remember Me For This came to life. ) 21.00

UNCONSCIOUS - Your God is Dead LP (detiri - Top class "Berlinisch"-Techno EBM from Italy.) 23.00

VASTUM - Orificial Purge LP (20 buck spin - back in stock on col. Vinyl - After four years of near silence, Vastum return with Orificial Purge, their much-awaited follow up to the acclaimed Hole Below. Their fourth album, Orificial Purge offers a distinctive blend of sinister atmosphere, punishing brutality, and an unparalleled lyrical and visual imagery that traces connections between perversion, mortification, and an abyssal mysticism of sin. ) 26.00

VIDRO - Allt Brinner LP (kink - back in stock - VIDRO is a new project-band from Stockholm-Portland-Belo Horizonte. They feature members from KURT I KUVÖS, DIAGNOSIS? BASTARD, BAD NERVE to name a few. After releasing a great demo-tape in 2017 - here is their 1st proper release on vinyl. Eleven songs that blur the lines of pissed hardcore and mid-tempo punk with female vocals and swedish lyrics. All of them personal, political and uniquely unapologetic.) 13.00
